I feel like I probably should try Mastodon again. But I really can’t be bothered. I’m connected enough.

In Star Trek The Original Series there were 7 main characters. In TNG there were 7 (8 including O’Brien). DS9 had 8. Voyager had 8. However shows like Game of Theones has hundreds. The Witcher has dozens. It’s too many people to keep track of. People lose track and interest.
After buying and using a keyboard with a knob, all keyboards without, feel incomplete. On its own, volume up and down and mute when pressed. Hold down a function key, screen brightness and pause play when pressed. Another function key, keyboard brightness and colours.
I got excited there’d be another episode of Starfleet Academy to watch this evening but then remembered the season had finished and then I was sad. Monarch Legacy of Monsters just does scratch the sci-fi itch.

Tech frens: what’s a, preferably free, certificate signing authority I can use for creating an https certificate?
I didn’t bother with The Witcher season 2. It started with “last time on The Witcher”, and I remembered nothing. But now I’ve started watching it again and it’s actually good. One thing of note, I have the lowest resolution Netflix, but even I can see the edge of the contact lenses they’re wearing.
Now that Linux is getting popular with the normies and gamers, there’s some gate keeping Harold hardcores who are running Free BSD as a desktop operating system.
Don’t do that. That’s a silly idea. No one’s impressed. You’re using all the GNU tools anyway, with a lot more hassles.
Looking forward to running my AI first company using blockchain and and accepting only crypto, based entirely in the Metaverse.
I’ve been using Linux for around a quarter of a century. I used it on the desktop, in the early 2000s, until I switched to using a Mac (a 2005 or 6 12" powerbook). This week I installed Kubuntu with KDE Plasma on an old laptop. And my god, it’s the real deal. It’s surprisingly good. Maybe I switch?
There’s two things keeping me on iPhone:
I would like to experiment with running an Android phone but those two thing, and especially iMessage, will keep me on iOS forever more.
🖖🏼 I thought Tilly was going to be in Starfleet Academy…
