@nug.monster I’m not sure on the chemistry. But could be worth a try with a small test sample? CO₂ is so much cheaper and more available than nitrogen.
@nug.monster CO₂ is the way to go. If you have a water sparkler, just give the jar a few blasts. Otherwise I can point you to some equipment that I use to keep oxygen away from my highly hopped beers
@nug.monster Yeah. You could probably get it cheaper via BOC Gas, as in cheaper per gram. But you’d need your own canister or to put down a deposit to borrow one. I’ve been looking into buying CO₂ in bulk and the setup costs are in the hundreds.
